"Step away, get some exercise, get some food, and then get right back into it. I was just completely dedicated at the time after the pre-work, so I just made time for food and learned as much as I could."

The jump from pizza delivery guy to overseeing a team of engineers isn't exactly a small one. But Andrew urges others to do the same and says, "Grass is greener over here."
"I started Sabio in April, graduated in August and got a job offer in September. Like, it's all seamless."
"Most of the time when I wasn't coding and I was in class I was helping everybody. We were talking, we were talking about code [...] And that's where I got really good at coding was in code talks."
"I had no experience at all coming into this. And then I got a job offer before I graduated. So, yeah, it definitely works."
The job that ultimately courted James had a technical interview that was, in his words, "an absolute joke" compared to the others. They came in with a big offer that reflected their appreciation of his personality.
He kept a positive attitude and appreciated the problem-solving nature of this work compared to his previous. "It was fun because it was challenging. It wasn't just the same monotonous thing over and over. It's always a new experience".
Her reasoning was simple: "I've had enough war zones in my lifetime. I'm getting the hell out of nursing."
"Record your interviews, take notes, constantly improve. Find a stable company that takes care of its employees."
At his job now, which is a defense contractor job that's updating the legacy software on intercontinental missiles, he's applying these skills every day. This is where having a solid foundation, a birds eye view of programming as a whole, is essential.
I had zero coding experience. I remember when I started looking into joining Sabio, I signed up for the Pre-work and almost right away thought, "Wow, I'm in a little over my head". But almost as soon as I got discouraged, things actually started to click.
He had an associate's degree in business and another for being a private pilot but that was it. Fortunately, those things meant nothing for being a software engineerâ€¦
Unemployment got you down? You're not alone. Sabio alum Claudia spent a great deal of her career trying to figure out what's next. Now, with Sabio and some inward reflection, she's finally scored her dream job. Here's her story:

At first, I enrolled in college, thinking that was going to set me up on a path to success, but 75 percent of my classes didn't actually have anything to do with my degree.
Even though he was all in, Changwoo found his initial days at Sabio a rewarding challenge... They emphasized how and where to spend your time which I found extremely helpful.
"As it so happens, one of my nephew's best friends went through Sabio, graduated and is doing quite well. He told me about it and was able to give me a referral, which turned out to be one of the best decisions I've ever made."
